Oktoberfest commences

Catch live German tunes by the Lasterbacher Musikanten Band at The Gulf Hotel Bahrain’s Gulf Convention Centre, while sampling a buffet of German specialties, to celebrate Munich’s Oktoberfest. It’s BD24.5++, inclusive of the show and food. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8.30pm.

Celebrate Germany’s most festive day with hops and traditional food at La Med restaurant in The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain. This themed brunch runs from 12.30pm to 4.30pm and costs BD35 net per person including beverages.

Breast cancer awareness

The annual, month-long awareness campaign for breast cancer officially kicks off in Bahrain with a Pink Party at The Ritz-Carlton’s Overlook where pink beverages and a buffet are on offer while you enjoy the DJ’s tunes. There’s also chance to takeaway homemade creations and help raise funds for Think Pink Bahrain. It’s BD25 for non-members, inclusive of drinks and food.

Wagyu promotion

Experience the essence of luxury Japanese cuisine as Bushido launches a special wagyu menu. Dishes on the promotional menu include the wagyu and foie gras sushi, wagyu wrapped scallops and a wagyu avocado roulade.

Tatsuo Yamamoto returns

Japanese artist and designer Tatsuo Yamamoto has brought his re-designed ‘Resonance’ installation back to La Fontaine Centre of Contemporary Art. This promising designer has installed thin rods, placed in the serene exhibition space with geometrical settings.
