Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi addressed the opening ceremony and thanked the Southern Governor, hailing the royal gesture of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to name the main avenue after an historic personality.
He commended the role of the Southern Governorate, led by HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, to reach out to citizens in all fields, stressing the delight of the Al-Naim tribe. Nasser bin Rashid bin Fahd Al-Majid Al-Nuaimi delivered a poem, extending the thanks and gratitude of the Al-Naim tribe to HM the King and reiterating their unwavering allegiance, following in the steps of their fathers and forefathers.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa then cut the ribbon, signaling the inauguration of the Majid bin Nasser Al-Majid Al-Nuaimi Avenue, hailing the royal gesture. The Al-Naim tribesmen extended deepest thanks and appreciation to HM the King, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect him.
They also expressed thanks HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa for opening the Majid bin Nasser Al-Majid Al-Nuaimi Avenue.
