Safe return of Bahrainis abroad priority says King

His Majesty King Hamad yesterday pledged to spare no effort for quick return of all Bahrainis stranded abroad.

He hailed Bahrain’s efforts to tackle the Coronavirus Disease and said the kingdom will continue boosting precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all people.

The King made the remarks as he received at Safriya Palace Parliament Speaker Fouzia Zainal and Shura Council chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh. He discussed with them requirements of the forthcoming phase.

The King underlined the importance of concerted efforts to serve the nation and citizens, pointing out Bahrain’s achievements in combating Covid-19.

He commended the efforts of the government, spearheaded by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, praising the tireless work of the National Taskforce to Combat Covid-19 under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.

The King also lauded the humanitarian efforts of medical teams in Bahrain who are fulfilling their missions professionally and courageously under these exceptional circumstances.
