Royal Humanitarian Foundation’s continues its Summer Program activities

The participants of the summer activity program, recently launched by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation,

continue to attend the program’s activities, which comes within the framework of the social care provided by the foundation to sponsored orphans and widows, inculcating and reinforcing the values of loyalty and rooting educational and patriotic values in them, and satisfying their desires of learning and exploration.

The activities also aim at supporting their individual’s skills and creative abilities within the framework of the institution’s effective contribution to developing the culture of Bahraini children and youth in all physical,

intellectual, artistic, and scientific aspects and achieving positive communication and integration with society.

Until now, members of the program have successfully completed three training courses in filming, video editing, infographic design, advertising photography, and others, in cooperation with Proact International Consulting. Each of those courses includes 36 training hours.

In parallel with these programs, the summer camp activities for children, which are hosted by the Children’s Academy and provided by distinguished teachers, continue to provide educational activities in English language remotely via Google platform, as the programs extend for three weeks.

The foundation has been keen to enrich the summer program this year with a number of practical, health, entertainment and cultural competitions, with the aim of supporting, developing and building the personalities of orphans through practical training and teach them the values of innovation and creativity, under the supervision of specialists in diverse fields.

The foundation organizes the summer activity this year remotely, in line with the precautionary measures of COVID-19 pandemic, and in a way that contributes to encouraging children and mothers to remain at home and invest their time in useful and beneficial activities and inspire them to reveal their talents and abilities and provide a proper opportunity for them to organize ways and means of investing time and promoting their creativity and innovation.

Alaa Bodlamah, head of programs and activities department at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, expressed the foundation’s satisfaction with the progress of the summer training program so far, stressing that the concerned team in the foundation is following up the activities of the program closely with its partners and is keen to continuously evaluate and correct performance to achieve the desired goals.

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation insists on implementing this program, despite the challenges posed by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, within the framework of the Foundation’s absolute commitment to developing the skills of its affiliates from all aspects, and utilizing their spare time to learn valuable things through many implemented courses and programs.

“We aim to discover the talents of the children, embrace and enhance them, and provide a conducive environment to developing their creativity to serve their community and their homeland in the most effective way,” Bodlamah said.

“This year, we are keen to move forward in enriching the content of the foundation’s summer program despite the challenges, through developing a system of reinforced programs aimed at strengthening the national identity of children and youth and developing their skills and abilities.

“We are also obliged to all the partners of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation for their active and fruitful cooperation in the implementation of the program’s activities,” Bodlamah said.
