Q2 2019 sales at Bahrain’s Alba grow 25% despite global trade tensions

Bahrain Bourse-listed Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) recorded 25% year-on-year growth in sales volume during Q2 2019, with the value reaching 311,928 metric tonnes (t) during the period, compared to 249,595 t in Q2 2018, despite a downward trend in prices at the London Metal Exchange and ongoing global trade tensions.
