Muharraq knocked Manama out of the King’s Cup competition after winning their quarter-final second leg match by penalty shootout 4-3 last night at Muharraq Club Stadium.

The match went to penalty shootout with no extra time played.
In the penalty shootout, Muharraq goalkeeper Sayed Mohammed Jaffar was the hero of the game, when he saved two penalty kicks by Manama’s players, to seal their qualification for the semi-final.
In the penalties, Muharraq scored through Jamal Rashid, Isa Moosa, Saleh Abdulhameed and Sayed Mohammed Jaffar, while Ali Jamal missed his shot.
For Manama, they scored through Mahmood Abdulrahman, Mohammed Al Romaihi and Brazilian Ronaldo, while they missed twice through Brazilian Eric and Ahmed Moosa.
In the other quarter-final second leg match, Riffa had no trouble defeating Al Shabab. Riffa won the first leg match 1-0 for an overall result of 4-1.
The first half ended 1-1, with Riffa scoring in the 8th minute, before Mahmood Al Mokhtar equalised in the 30th minute.
Riffa went full power in the second half, scoring a second goal through Uche Agba in the 53rd minute, before Habeeb Haroon hits his target in the 57th minute to wrap up the win.
