Leaders continue to receive condolences

His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received condolences from world leaders, senior government officials and diplomats on the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

He received cables of condolences from Deputy Prime Minister Jawad Al Arrayed, Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal Ahmed, Parliament Minister Ghanim Al Bouainain, Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan, Assistant Foreign Minister Abdulla Al Doseri, the King’s adviser for diplomatic affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the King’s adviser for economic Affairs Dr Hassan Fakhro and Constitutional Court president Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa.

He received phone calls from UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Ambassador Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prince Abdulaziz bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

His Majesty received cables of condolences from Czech Republic Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, Republic of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Republic of Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh, Saudi Ambassador Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Lebanese Ambassador Dr Milad Nemour, Russian President’s Personal Adviser for the Middle East, North Africa and Arab and Islamic Affairs Vitaly Naumkin, Saudi Ambassador to Italy Prince Faisal bin Satam bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Shaikh Nasser Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah, Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UAE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, CSB chairman Ahmed Al Zayed, Bahrain’s Ambassador to China Anwar Youssef Al Abdalla, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Thailand Ahmed Abdulla Al Hajeri, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Kuwait Salaj Ali Al Malki, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Jordan Ahmed bin Youssef Al Ruwea, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Indonesia Ghassan Mohammed Adnan Sheikho, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Russia Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati and Bahrain’s Ambassador to Washington Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa.

BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dheyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Foreign Ministry Under-Secretary Dr Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Foreign Ministry Under-Secretary, SDC Vice Secretary General Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Public Prosecutor Dr Ali Al Bouainain, Jafferi Endowments Council chairman Youssef bin Saleh Al Saleh, Foreign Ministry Under-Secretary for Regional Affairs and GCC Wahid Mubarak Sayyar, Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry Under-Secretary Isa Sami Al Mannai, Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry Under-Secretary Dana bint Khamis Alzayani, Bahrain Volleyball Association chairman Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa and Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry Under-Secretary Sami Abdulla Bouhazza were among those who sent condolences to the King.

His Majesty expressed thanks to all the leaders, ministers, officials and diplomats for their condolences.
