His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor, President of the Supreme Council for Youth to implement the precautionary measures for coronavirus (COVID-19) in line with the Executive Committee’s recommendations.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed utmost thanks and appreciation to the officials for their efforts to implement the precautionary measures to combat the pandemic.
“In the beginning, I would like to value the efforts being exerted by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to tackle the spread of the coronavirus”, he said.
“HRH the Crown Prince has been working tirelessly to ensure the safety and health of all the citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain by denying the virus from spreading. Thanks to his efforts Bahrain has been cited among the leading countries in fighting this virus,” HH Shaikh Khalid said.
“We will maintain our efforts to implement HH Shaikh Nasser’s directives and instructions to cement all the measures taken to protect the society from this virus and raise awareness of this disease among everyone in the Kingdom of Bahrain,” HH Shaikh Khalid added.
He hailed the response made by the sportspeople in Bahrain with the execution of the precautionary measures, stating:
“It’s the responsibility of everyone to ensure such measures are implemented. We have to show unity and solidarity in those circumstances.”
He praised the decision of the International Olympic Committee to adjourn the Olympic Games until the summer of 2021, valuing the approval of Japan’s government to this step. The sports officials hailed the constant follow-up of HH Shaikh Khalid to all the updates regarding battling the spread of COVID-19.
