Gulf Air to suspend flights to and from Kuwait

Bahrain national carrier Gulf Air has announced the temporary suspension of flights to and from Kuwait International Airport, effective from midnight March 13 until further notice, in light of the COVID-19 situation.

Gulf Air highlighted that the remaining flights to and from Kuwait are limited to Kuwaiti citizens and their first degree relatives as well as domestic workers accompanying them; non-Kuwaitis are prohibited from entering Kuwait through Kuwait International Airport on flights arriving on March 12 and 13.




Non-Kuwaiti’s will be able to enter Bahrain through returning flights from Kuwait until March 13.

All passengers are urged to check Gulf Air’s website before travelling or to call the Contact Centre for more information on +97317373737.

Gulf Air apologizes to all passengers for any inconvenience that this may have caused and is working closely with the concerned authorities in Bahrain to take all precautionary and preventive measures in order to ensure the safety and security of the citizens and residents of the kingdom along with its passengers and crew.
