The four expatriate defendants will be deported from Bahrain after serving the jail terms, the official said.
The prime convict in the case duped the victim by telling her she would get her a job in Bahrain. On arriving at the kingdom, the victim was forced into prostitution in return for money collected by the prime defendant who later sold her to the second defendant who also forced her into prostitution and held her against her will for over a month.
He also recruited the two other defendants to facilitate the victim’s prostitution and prevent her from escape.
The case came to the knowledge of authorities after the victim escaped and informed the police.
