Arabian Horse Beauty Show winners claim their prizes

THE Ninth National Day Arabian Horse Beauty Show concluded on Saturday at Bahrain International Endurance Village.

The event was organised under the patronage of Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa,

president of Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) and vice-president of Supreme Council for the Environment, to mark Bahrain National Day and His Majesty’s accession to the throne.

Winning the ‘A’ and ‘B’ mares contests were Hatim Al Manama, owned by Manama Stables (91.88 points), and Borak, owned by Al Atyab Stud (91.38), respectively.

Saif (92.13), owned by Salman Hamad Yousif, won the class A (two years) competition for mares while class B (two years) honour was claimed by Al Zubair (89.88), owned by Al Muhanna Stud.

Other results:

Three-year-old mares: Abraq (91.13) of Al Naseem Stud. General mares (gold medal): Hatim Al Manama (15) of Manama Stables. Small mares: Abraq (20) of Al Naseem Stud.

Stallions aged 4-6 years: Aali Fareed (92.88) of Aali Arabians.

Stallions aged 7 years: Zothar (91.63) owned by Saeed Jaffar. Aali Fareed (22) also won the gold medal in the final competition for stallions
